i've spent the last couple of weeks thinking about what to put here in this box. so many good things have happened from the fact that we're about to become first time parents to the fact that we're coming into our first holiday season as a married couple. i was just sitting here thinking about that fact. i won't be in the us for our first thanksgiving together we'll be in some far off land proving that we are truly thankful for what we have in life. i'm not trying to prove that to anyone else other than myself. i'm trying to do exactly what i want to do with my life for me, or well also to make my daddy proud. it's never easy being the preachers kid, but i do have to say that i feel like it left me with many life lessons. it taught me the importance of being charitable, but it also taught me the importance of doing some of it quietly. there is only one reason i talk about some of my charities and that is, because i want to help people understand that it's important. i want them to know what's going on in the world. i want people to stand with me against the horrific crimes going on around the world. the crimes of human trafficking. the crimes of young children being used for sex. the crimes of 2000 fetuses being held in a church. i want people to stand with me against these atrocities, because they don't just effect their home country. they effect all of us. they effect society, and they effect how the women of the world see themselves( .... )

i don't need anything, but i wanted to do this. i thought it would be a fun way to get to learn something not only about my secret santa, but also about the person to whom i am a secret santa. if you desire to give me presents i like country and soft rock music, my family (especially our newest addition....feel free to give all my presnts to him), or i really love donations to the following: theblindproject, somalymam, st. bernard project, or the thirst project
